Based in beautiful Southern California and proudly serving the Los Angeles and Orange County area.   At Chic Event Designs we believe that every event is unique and special therefore it deserves to be treated as such. We are passionate about creating modern, chic and memorable events one event at a time. Our goal is to always provide the highest level of service to our clients in a fun, warm and creative environment.

Our initial process is simple!  It starts off with a complimentary meeting, where we get to know you, your ideas and expectations. Whether you are ready to plan the wedding of your dreams or a social celebration, we are here to take on the responsibility of bringing your vision to life by following your inspiration and ideas so you can relax and enjoy the day.

We also have a sister company!  Photo Booth By Chic offers simple, clean and modern photo booth services, a great addition to any event.



Erica Valdez:  Founder & CEO  – Lead Event Planner & Coordinator

I am a Southern Cali native with a background in customer service, public relations and dentistry.  I have loved every aspect of the event Industry for as long as I can remember.  After years of being in the dental industry, I decided I wanted to take a chance. In 2015 I did just that and Chic Event Designs was born. I am happy to say that although the journey leading up to today has not always been the easiest, it sure has been amazing and I can say I am now doing exactly what I was meant to do.  I feel extremely blessed and fortunate to be apart of an industry that allows me to meet amazing people, experience diversity and most importantly happiness through every client.

I am a proud parent of two children and when I am not planning or coordinating an event,  I enjoy quiet time watching crime and suspense films, listening to music because I believe that music and laughter make everything better. I must also confess my love for coffee, could not survive without. A fun fact about me would be… That I am a fashionista and find myself totally obsessed with pretty shoes!



Crystal Velasco:  Coordinator Assistant

I have been working alongside Erica Valdez since the very beginning of this amazing journey. My organizational skills, high energy and sense of humor adds to the dynamic demeanor at Chic Event Designs.  Coordinating and assisting allows my creative side to shine bright and artistically collaborate to bring event designing to the next level. On my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling near and far, dancing and a good laugh!
